How It Works

How the GrabNGo Smart Market Works

Not a vending machine — a self-checkout market. No buttons, no coils, no jammed snacks.

Tap. Grab. Gone.

Tapping a card to unlock a GrabNGo smart market1

Tap a card or phone

The door unlocks. First-time users enter a phone number once for text receipts — instant every visit after that.

Grab what you want

No scanning, no menu. Put something back before closing the door? Never charged for it.

Close the door

That's the entire transaction. The receipt lands by text within seconds.

If someone's used a self-checkout line, they already know how this works. Faster than a vending machine, faster than a gas station counter.

The Micromart Smart Store

Every GrabNGo market runs on Micromart GEN5 Smart Cabinet hardware — AI-powered smart-store equipment, not mechanical vending parts.

Footprint of a large refrigerator

A single unit runs about 79" tall, 30" wide, 38" deep on a standard 120V outlet. A full setup — two fridges plus a pantry — takes roughly 90" × 38" of floor space.

Mix-and-match

Fridge (35°F), freezer (−20°F), and ambient pantry sections combine to match what your property needs — drinks and fresh food, frozen meals and ice cream, shelf-stable snacks.

AI visual sensors

Every item taken is recognized with 99.5% product recognition accuracy, so inventory and charges stay accurate.

Custom to the space

Premium wood enclosures and custom wraps are available at no cost, so it reads like a property amenity, not a machine someone dropped off.

Monitored in real time, managed remotely

  • Real-time inventory. We know what's low before your people do. Restocking is demand-based — typically 1–2 visits a week after the first month, every visit including cleaning and an equipment check.
  • 99.9% uptime, 99.9% transaction payout. The machine is almost never the reason someone walks away empty-handed, and money moves accurately every time.
  • Remote everything. Pricing, inventory, promotions, and most troubleshooting handled from our end — including remotely power-cycling the unit — with nothing routed through your staff.
  • Performance data per location. Sales velocity, product mix, peak hours. It's how we keep the lineup dialed in — and how we hold ourselves to the promise that an underperforming market gets pulled at our expense, not yours.

Built to protect your property, not just the sale

  • Fully cashless. There's no cash on-site to manage or steal — ever.
  • Tamper-resistant by design. The door lock is integrated into the frame (not a bolt-on someone can pry), a multi-sensor locking mechanism secures the unit, and the payment terminal is sealed into the door.
  • Network-independent. The unit runs on its own multi-carrier cellular connection and never touches your building's network. Optional Wi-Fi with automatic cellular failover — your call.
  • Always reporting. Every unit is monitored in real time, so we know immediately if something's wrong.

Signature to live market in 2–8 weeks

Your unit is custom-ordered for your space, not pulled off a shelf. The timeline depends on build and delivery — not on anything your team has to do.

Before delivery

We confirm the exact spot from the walkthrough, take your product preferences, and reach out two weeks ahead with the full plan — date, install window, what to expect. You provide a standard outlet, level flooring (units run about 340 lbs), and a clear delivery path.

Install day

We block out the full day, and an owner is on-site start to finish. The unit is inspected, positioned, leveled, connected (your Wi-Fi or our own router), test-transacted, and stocked before we leave.

First month

We visit 2–3 times a week, check in weekly, and adjust the inventory toward what's actually selling. By the end of month one, the market isn't just installed — it's dialed in.

What we stock depends on who's in your building — see the mix by property type.
