The Chicago version of the problem

The best food in America is four blocks away. You still won't go.

You're on twenty-three. It's 12:15. There's a place on Randolph you actually like. And then you run the numbers.

Out west it's the parking lot. Downtown it's the elevator. On a dock in Bedford Park at 2am there is simply nothing open at all. Different city, same gap.

Where we actually cover, right now

Every vending company's Chicago page claims the whole metro. This one won't. A market nobody can service properly is worse than no market at all.

Nurses who can't step away between patients. Families sitting through six-hour procedures. Overnight shifts long after the cafeteria closed. Healthcare is the most consistent property type we serve anywhere.

Our strongest Chicagoland coverage

The western corridor

I-88, I-290, I-294. Fully operational today, and it happens to be where the best use case lives.

  • Bedford Park is roughly 40% industrial and 50% transportation land, anchored by the Clearing Industrial District and about 400 businesses
  • Franklin Park, Melrose Park and Northlake carry thousands of warehouse jobs across multiple shifts
  • Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace hold the premier suburban office cluster in the region

Blue-collar multi-shift buildings outperform everything else we place, because the people inside genuinely cannot leave.

Why go small in a big market

Chicago has no shortage of vending companies, and several are very large.

Large operators are good at scale and less good at the one building assigned to a route three counties away. If your machine is one of four hundred on somebody's schedule, it gets serviced on that schedule regardless of what your building actually needs.

We're owner-operated and deliberately small. Every site we take is one we chose because it fit, serviced against documented standards instead of route convenience. That's also why the coverage section above says what it says.

Chicago vending FAQ

Do you actually service the city of Chicago?

Partly, and we'll be specific rather than vague. We're fully operational across the western corridor, covering eastern DuPage and western Cook along I-88, I-290 and I-294. City routes and the near-west and southwest industrial corridors are in active expansion, and we take Chicago leads now to build the density that makes those routes work. Send us your address and you'll get a direct answer, including a realistic timeline if the answer is not yet.

Do we have to pay for the machines?

No. No purchase price, lease, installation fee or stocking cost. GrabNGo owns the equipment, carries the insurance and earns its margin on what sells. Your contribution is floor space, a standard outlet and a short walkthrough.

Is there a contract? Others advertise "no contract."

Yes, and we'd rather explain why than pretend otherwise. We're putting our own equipment and inventory in your building at our cost, so the agreement protects that investment and puts our service obligations in writing for you. What matters is the exit: a 60-day mutual trial with 30-day notice and no fee. If it isn't working for either side in the first two months, it ends cleanly. Read the terms before you sign anything, ours included.

Does a downtown high-rise work for this?

Often yes. Multi-tenant towers are among the better placements when the building has a shared amenity floor or tenant lounge with real traffic through it. What matters is the traffic past one visible spot, plus freight elevator and loading dock access for service. We check all of that at the walkthrough.

What if we're unhappy with our current vending company?

Check your existing agreement for its notice period and whether it grants exclusivity. Most allow an exit with written notice and many are month to month. We can walk your building and give you a configuration and timeline before you give notice, so there's no gap between the old machine leaving and the new market going live.

Can we choose what products go in it?

You tell us what your people want and we build the mix around it, including requests after we go live. Final selection stays with us because we carry the inventory cost and the spoilage risk, and sales data tells us fast what a building actually buys. In practice the mix ends up shaped almost entirely by your site.

How often is it restocked?

On data, not on a route day. Inventory reports remotely, so visits are scheduled around what's actually selling down in your building. High-volume sites get serviced more often than a route schedule allows. Slower sites don't get visits they don't need.

What happens if it breaks down?

They contact us, not you. Every unit carries our support number and a refund QR code. System status is monitored remotely, so most problems are visible to us before anyone reports them. Nothing routes through your front desk or maintenance team.

Send us the address

Inside our radius, the next step is a free 15-minute walkthrough. Outside it, we'll say so plainly and tell you when that changes.
