Vending Machines & Micro-Markets for Apartment Communities
A cashless, glass-front market in your clubhouse or lobby. We install it, stock it, service it and insure it at zero cost to the property, and every resident question comes to us instead of your onsite team. Naperville, Aurora, Elgin, DuPage and the western suburbs.
$0 capital & $0 ongoing · Zero maintenance tickets · 24/7 resident access · Installed in 2–8 weeks
Your residents leave the property for this. Every night.
It is 10 p.m. Out of creamer. Kid wants a snack. Shift ended at nine and there was no dinner.
So they get in the car.
A market in the lobby makes it ninety seconds in slippers. That is the kind of thing residents mention in a review and at renewal.
Residents don't rate the amenity list.
They rate the ten o'clock run.
Nobody writes a review about a fitness room they use twice a month. They write one about the thing they use on a Tuesday night.
A small store, not a vending machine
Tap a card, open the door, take it, close it. The charge posts automatically. No coins, no bill slot, no cash in your building.
- 3–4x the selection of a coil machine
- Nothing to jam. Residents take it by hand
- Restocked on live data, not a route day
- $0 to the property. We own, stock, service and insure it
One of these is in your
amenity room right now
Coils, a bill slot, and a note taped to the front.
Tap, take, go. Stocked on live data.
Same corner. Three ways we can build it.
You already have the footprint. A clubhouse wall, a mail room alcove, the corner with the old machine in it.
One unit
Fits where a vending machine fits.
Two units
The common apartment setup.
Replacing old vending
Same wall. Different building.
The before and after renderings in this section are AI-generated, made to show scale and placement in a typical amenity space. They are not photographs of installed sites. Photos of our actual equipment appear everywhere else on this page.

Four numbers ownership will ask you for
Your amenity budget is locked for the year. This one does not touch it, or the maintenance queue, or your staff.
Out of your budget
No purchase, lease, install fee or monthly charge. Ownership reviews a vendor agreement and a COI. That is the entire ask.
Tickets for your techs
They never stock it, pull expired product or reset a reader. Our number is on the unit. Complaints come to us.
Stop on the tour
A lit market reads as a newer building, and it is one of the few amenities a prospect can picture using that night.
Cash on the property
Cashless only. Nothing to break into, no coin box your staff is responsible for, no cash-handling liability.
About an hour a month, and none of it is stocking.
Typical monthly hours for a 150 to 400 unit community. The work does not shrink when you run it yourself. It moves onto your maintenance tech.

Not zero, and we won't pretend it is. Expect a few short messages when something needs your call, and one quick monthly check-in: how it's selling, what residents are asking for, anything you want changed. The walkthrough at the start is about 45 minutes, once.
"So what does it cost us?"
Nothing. That is the whole answer.
The deal, in plain numbers
No purchase. No lease. No install fee. No stocking cost. We own the equipment, carry the insurance, absorb ordinary shrink and handle every resident issue directly. Your part is a spot, an outlet, and 15 minutes. Contract and exit terms are in the FAQ.
The machine tells us before a resident does
Vision, not coils
Sensors identify what leaves the shelf. 99.5% product recognition, 99.9% payout accuracy. The charge matches what the resident carried out.
Live inventory
Stock levels report remotely, so we restock around what your community is actually buying down. Not a route day.
Locked to a card
The door opens only after a card is authorized and the session is tied to it. Ordinary shrink is our cost, not yours.
Where it goes in your community
Placement decides whether a market works, so we pick the spot at the walkthrough. You approve it. If the location you had in mind is the wrong one, we will say so.
- Lobby or entryway. Highest traffic in the building, every resident, every day
- Mail and package room. Everybody comes through, most of them daily
- Clubhouse or resident lounge. The tour stop leasing wants to show
- Coworking lounge. Captive time, and a reason to stay in the building
From you: floor space, a standard outlet, internet. That is the list.

Getting one into your community
- Free walkthrough. 15 minutes on site. Straight yes or no.
- Configure and sign. Plain-language agreement, insurance certificate for your file, no obligation on the property.
- Install. Two to eight weeks. We deliver, install, stock and test. Your team does nothing.
- Ongoing. Remote monitoring, data-driven restocks, every refund handled by us.
If your community fits, we'll tell you.
If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.
Our site qualifier is roughly 500+ people through the space daily. Smaller communities can still work when the placement is right, and a half-empty market with our name on it helps neither of us.
The dining hall closes. The building doesn't.
Same equipment, different clock. If you manage residence halls or off-campus student apartments, your peak is the hours everything else is shut.
- Move-in week stocking5 hrs
- Finals and late-night restocks4 hrs
- Desk cash and coin box2 hrs
- RA and staff snack runs3 hrs

Live inventory triggers our visit off what sold, so nobody on your staff schedules it. The hour is a monthly check-in before move-in, finals and break weeks, plus whatever students are asking for.
Residence halls
Overnight is the peak.
Lobby or lounge placement near the desk, where it is already supervised.
Off-campus communities
Leasing season is amenity season.
Purpose-built student apartments in DeKalb, Elgin and along I-88. Same tour, same renewal math.
Campus buildings
NIU and College of DuPage.
Commuter students on site for a block of hours with nowhere to go. Schools →
Cash. There is none on site. Nothing worth breaking into, no coin box, nothing for a desk worker or RA to be responsible for.
Spikes. Move-in week, finals, the Sunday before every deadline. Live inventory triggers the restock off what sold, not off a calendar.

One owner, one phone number
Independent and owner-operated out of Aurora. Not a route company, not a franchise, not a territory somebody bought.
Which matters on the only part you care about: who picks up when something is wrong. You get the owner, not a ticket number and a call center three states away.
We are early in building our footprint here, and we would rather say that than pad a page with claims you cannot check. What we put in writing is the service standard, the insurance, and an exit that costs you nothing.
Apartment vending FAQ
What does it cost the property?
Nothing. No purchase price, lease, installation fee, stocking cost or monthly charge. GrabNGo owns the equipment, carries the insurance and earns its margin on what sells. Your contribution is floor space, a standard outlet and a short walkthrough.
Will this add work for my maintenance team?
No. We stock it, clean it, rotate product and service the hardware. Residents contact us directly through the support number and refund QR code on the unit. System status is monitored remotely, so most problems are visible to us before anyone reports them. Nothing routes through your leasing office or maintenance queue.
Is there a contract? Other companies advertise "no contract."
Yes, and we would rather explain it than pretend otherwise. We are placing our own equipment and inventory in your building at our cost, so the agreement protects that investment and puts our service obligations in writing for you. What matters is the exit: a 60-day mutual trial with 30-day notice and no fee. If it is not working for either side in the first two months, it ends cleanly. Read the terms before you sign anything, ours included.
Can residents choose what gets stocked?
Tell us what your community wants and we build the mix around it, including requests after we go live. Final selection stays with GrabNGo because we carry the inventory cost and the spoilage risk, and sales data tells us quickly what a building actually buys. In practice the mix ends up shaped almost entirely by your residents.
What about theft or vandalism?
The door unlocks only after a payment card is authorized, and the session is tied to that card, which removes most of the anonymous risk a coin machine carries. There is no cash on site. Ordinary shrink is absorbed by us, not billed to the property.
Do we need an ownership or corporate approval?
Usually a vendor agreement and a certificate of insurance, which we provide. Because there is no capital outlay, no lease and no ongoing expense, it does not touch the operating or capital budget, which is typically the shortest path through an ownership review.
We already have a vending company. What now?
Check your existing agreement for its notice period and whether it grants exclusivity. Most allow an exit with written notice and many are month to month. We can walk the property and give you a configuration and timeline before you give notice, so there is no gap between the old machine leaving and the new market going live.
How long does installation take, and how disruptive is it?
Two to eight weeks from signature, depending on configuration and lead times. Install itself is a delivery and a plug-in, done in one visit. No construction, no plumbing, no electrical work beyond a standard outlet.
Does this work for student housing?
Yes, and the overnight hours are usually the strongest part of the day. Residence halls, off-campus student apartments and commuter campuses all run on the gap between when dining closes and when the building goes quiet. Cashless also removes the cash-handling question for desk staff and RAs.
Give your residents their evening back
A free 15-minute walkthrough tells you whether your community is a fit. No pressure, no obligation, no cost either way.
